The Eaton OSP10M-W Passive Infrared Occupancy Sensor conserves energy and automates your residential and commercial lighting when you enter or leave a room. This device uses passive infrared detection to monitor the occupancy of a room and automatically turns lights on when people are present and off when the room is empty. This occupancy sensor has a 180-degree field of view and activates your lighting when it detects major motion within 1,000-square feet of the sensor and remains on by slight movement detection within a 300-square foot radius of the sensor. The adjustable time delay settings let you control how long the sensor waits until it shuts down lighting after a period of vacancy. This energy saving light control uses single-pole (or 3-way wiring) and includes light level sensing capability to further enhance your energy savings by preventing automatic control of the lights when the regular daylight level is sufficient. This sensor has adjustable automatic on and manual on modes, a manual off push button that can be used in either automatic or manual modes and zero-cross technology to maximize relay life and wall switch longevity. Designed for 120/277-volt incandescent lamps, halogen fixtures, electronic and magnetic fluorescent ballasts, CFLs and LED electrical motor loads, this light control uses a single relay, doesn't require a neutral connection, installs in place of a single-pole wall switch and fits a standard wall box. Other features include an installation and test mode for easy setup and a tamper-resistant, reinforced lens.
